The COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in adopting massively social distancing measures to tame the human-to-human transmission of new coronavirus and protect public health. These intervention policies have caused changes travel behavior, thereby expressing a need update profiles factors associated with mode choice. To respond this research gap part, current study aims model children’s decisions for school trips post-pandemic time Hanoi. As regards usage, cycling is main active transport share at 23.3%, doubling rate 11% walking. dominant traveling motorized modes (i.e., cars motorcycles) proportion 60%, meanwhile, buses account only 6.2%. determinants, when growing up, children tend shift from being driven actively. availability increases likelihood using other compared cycling. An opposite association seen bicycles. flexibility terms mother’s job involved higher possibility child. A home-school distance less than 1 km more suitable walking cycling; however, an inverse relationship witnessed between 2 km. over appropriate buses. promote school, demand should be taken planning into consideration. Developing facilities essential, especially urban districts. Additionally, limiting use private would useful.
